Calling all poetry enthusiasts, wordsmiths, and fans of spoken word!
Join us Thursday, January 18th as this year’s grand finale promises to be an epic conclusion to the incredible work that’s erupted throughout this community. Artists from across the city have waged lyrical warfare in hopes of being the champion to represent Hamilton at the Canadian Individual Poetry Slam Championship (CIPS – held this April in Vancouver) and the possibility of going to Worlds (Togo – Western Africa). We are excited to crown our new Champion and journey with them – This is not just a competition but rather it’s a celebration of the stories that bind us all.
