Beginning your journey in fine art collecting can seem intimidating. However, everyone can enjoy buying and owning art at an affordable price point, at any age. It can be a great time to start investing and to begin shaping your art-collecting identity.
Whether you’re an art enthusiast or a newbie, this workshop will guide you through the essential steps to begin collecting art. Includes a cocktail reception.
Jasmine Lazdins, Senior Art Consultant, AGH Art Sales + Services, will be joined by Rachel Turrin, lead consultant and founder of Doner Turrin Inc., Kyle Matuzewiski, Co Director of Bau-Xi Gallery, and Mackenzie Sinclair, Executive Director of The Art Dealers Association of Canada, to hear these experts in the industry discuss their inside reflections on building an art collection, from where collectors begin, to common twists and mistakes, and what makes an impactful art collection.
