Hamilton-based Métis artist Tracey-Mae Chambers is installing site-specific art projects in over 63 public sites throughout Canada in the upcoming six months.
Composed of an intricate interweaving of red thread, #hopeandhealingcanada metaphorically asserts the need for connection between people, specifically connections necessary to the process of truth and reconciliation.
Tracey-Mae will speak about the genesis of this project, its evolution, and its most recent installation in the AGH Sculpture Garden.
Admission is Free.
