We’re celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Kim Adams’ Bruegel Bosch Bus while also kicking off the spooky season with Costumed Life Drawing and a Hands-on Assemblage project. Capacity is limited, so register soon!
To honour the 25th anniversary of venerated Canadian artist Kim Adams’s seminal sculpture The Bruegel Bosch Bus, the AGH is pleased to release a full-colour catalogue that charts the evolution of this work and its public impact. The artist will be on hand to reflect on this work, discuss its future, and of course, sign copies!
This exciting celebration evening will include:
6:30 pm – Costumed Life Drawing: Join us for a session of Halloween-inspired costumed life drawing. Come wearing a unique costume and pose for others to draw. Art supplies provided, no experience necessary.
7:00 pm – Meet Artist Kim Adams and have your catalogue singed. Purchase your catalogue in the Shop at AGH (online or in-person).
7:30 pm – Assemblage Project: Taking inspiration from the Kim Adams’ Bruegel Bosch Bus, drop in for a communal assemblage sculpture-making. Create a small sculptural artwork using found materials (provided) to contribute to the larger group piece.
Free admission. Due to capacity limitations, please signup separately for each activity.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of September 22, 2021, the Government of Ontario requires visitors to any indoor public or private event (including talks, workshops, private parties, etc) who are 12 years of age and older to be fully vaccinated (two doses, plus 14 days) and to provide proof of vaccination along with government-issued ID upon arrival.
