By now it’s a surprise to no one that the city of Hamilton is in a significant state of transformation. Just consider the number of artists whose work is devoted to the changing face of its skyline, its neighbourhoods, and its urban nodes.
With featured works from Stephen Brookbank, Paul Elia, Gord Leverton and David Trautrimas, this exhibition presents a range of perspectives on our city’s urban spaces, and the delicate, beautiful balance that often exists between its industrial vestiges, heritage architecture, and civic revival.
